- AN INTELLIGENT SKILLS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR UNDERGRADUATES.
Most graduates face the reality that not every skill they require to differentiate themselves for employment is gotten from the classroom. A greater percentage of Nigerian youths begin learning relevant job skills after graduation. These skills are better acquired while in school, in conjunction with course work to prepare such a candidate for the labour market. If the students know the relevant employment skills needed then they can begin to prepare towards their chosen career on time. This web application will acquaint undergraduates with the skills that match their preferred career, how and where to gain such skills. Students can interact with the system to also find best suited jobs and work environment for them.
- A CLOUD BASED RESULT SYSTEM FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Academic Institutions in Nigeria still find the cost of owning and managing a result application to be very high, nevertheless they see it as essential to the successful management of their schools, especially at the secondary level where students need to go home with their grade report at the end of every term. A result system hosted in the cloud would give them access to a cheaper and more flexible method of managing their students’ grade report as teachers and parents can access students result from anywhere and anytime. This cloud application will store students’ biodata and termly result in a cloud environment.
- A LECTURE ROOM RESERVATION SYSTEM
This web application will be used to reserve, allocate and de-allocate lecture halls to different classes, matching the right size of hall to the number of students for a particular class. The application would also take into consideration the duration and priority of the lecture, instructional equipment required to set up the room for a given lecture.
- MOBILE FISH FARM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Fish farm managers are occupied with multiple tedious tasks on a daily basis, in addition to inventory and budget management. In order for the business to be profitable, the farm owner has to reduce manual task as well as paid labour. This mobile application should take inventory, and manage farm budget. In order to accomplish this it should accept data of farm manager, number of fishes stocked with dates and cost, stage (fingerling, juvenile or post-juvenile), expected date of harvest. Remind farm managers when to stock fish feed (and the right size), give treatment, change water and sort the fishes.
- DIET PLANNER FOR DIABETICS
This mobile app will assist in planning a diabetic’s meal considering factors such as type and quality of food, amount of calories required per day, amount of exercise gotten daily, other key variables are age, weight, BMI e.t.c. the system should learn from other diabetics on the network of new available recipe, health tips and food guide. The essence of this app is for those who are diabetic to identify with themselves and share ideas on how to live a healthier life through diet planning.
- A SLEEP TRACKING APP FOR DETECTING INSOMNIA IN PATIENTS
This mobile application should keep track of the amount of sleep (hours) a person gets. Using age, environment and other health challenges as input variables to determine if a patient is suffering from insomnia. The app should also access the quality of sleep gotten daily by analyzing the primary factors affecting sleep patterns, such as weather, mattress type, ventilation, sleeping position etc.
7. SOCIAL EVENT PLANNER
Event planners have to work with deadlines and have to put up with a lot of task to ensure a successful occasion. More so, most persons who have a social event may not be able to afford an event planner, in that case they can rely on an app that will be accurate in playing an advisory role. This application should help event planners and celebrants prepare budgets for an event. It should put up a to-do-list based on the type of event, and make a reminder on deadlines for each task.
note: topics in blue have been assigned i.e 1, 3, 5 and 7.

- background to the study
- statement of the problem
- aim and objectives of the study
- scope of the study
- significance of the study
Dear Students, please be guided by the following timelines for the supervision process.
Chapter One : to be submitted by March ending
Chapter Two : end of April.
Chapter Three : end of May.
Chapter Four : end of June
Chapter Five: Middle of June.
Submission of Complete work end of June.
Final Defense end of July, 2019.
Note that any student who fails the timeline two consecutive times would be dropped.
